Indore was ranked the cleanest city in India for the seventh time in a row at the Swachh Survekshan Awards in January this year. The city is known for its exceptional and well-planned waste management system and proper disposal.

Indian billionaire and philanthropist Anand Mahindra recently shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) by a US vlogger. The video depicts the cleanliness of the city and the disciplined approach of the citizens towards the hygiene and sanitation of their environment.

The caption read, "Cannot help dreaming: If this were to be replicated throughout the country..."

The video shows people using different bins for steel plates and picking up accidentally spilled food from the ground. It also shows a small basin for citizens to wash their hands in. The US vlogger is impressed by the cleanliness and the proper arrangements for garbage disposal.

One user wrote, "This is why Indore is the cleanest city in India! Role model city for Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan! Indore processes over 1,900 tons of urban waste every day. This helps the city fuel its buses and gives it crores of rupees. Usually, the garbage is segregated into dry and wet categories. However, Indore takes a step ahead in segregating the garbage into 6 distinct categories at a collection point."

"India would look very different if more cities had residents like those in Indore who prioritize cleanliness," another user wrote, highlighting the importance of adopting a progressive mindset and prioritizing the cleanliness of the country.

"I visited Indore last year and was amazed by the city's cleanliness and the pride its residents take in maintaining it. I highly recommend everyone to visit Indore and witness it for themselves," one person commented about their pleasant visit to Indore.
