The founder of Wingify shared a message he got on X where a job applicant offered $500 in return for a job position at the company.

The job market is currently saturated with a high number of applicants but not so many good opportunities. People are trying to find creative ways to get noticed by employers and getting their resume on the table.

One such incident has emerged on the internet where a job applicant offered $500 to the employer in return for a job position in the company. Paras Chopra, founder of the software company, Wingify received a strange text message from a job applicant who expressed his interest in joining the company and even tried to bribe him with money.

Paras took it on X (formerly Twitter) and posted a screenshot of the message and wrote, "This is how you get attention! (Obviously won’t take money but very impressed with the pitch)"

The message read, "I want to work at Wingify. I have a unique proposition for you. I'll pay you $500 to hire me. If I don't prove myself to be one of the best within a week you can fire me & keep the money. Saying this so I'll have skin in the game & not to waste your teams time. Looking forward to your rejection." The message sent was clearly meant to be a light-hearted joke and the applicant is not seriously trying to bribe the founder.

The post has 124.8K views, and people are flocking in to make fun of the message and crack some jokes.

One user wrote, "Like they say, every “content” type has an audience type," making fun of the message and its content. Someone in the comments even called it the 'Hunger Games' of job hunting.
