Aaryan Shukla, a 13-year-old math genius also known as 'Human Calculator', has recently set the Guinness World Record for the fastest mental addition. He achieved this record in just 25.19 seconds on a popular Italian show, 'Lo Show Dei Record', in Milan, Italy.
Aaryan Shukla, a student in class 8 from Delhi Public School Nashik has made the nation proud by setting the Guinness World Record for 'fastest time to add 50 five-digit numbers mentally'.
Known as the 'Human Calculator', Aaryan is a child prodigy who achieved this record in just 25.19 seconds. It was broadcast on a popular Italian show called ‘Lo Show Dei Record,’ in Milan, Italy on February 29, 2024.
This 13-year-old genius has always been in the headlines due to his unbeatable mental mathematics. He has been participating in mathematics competitions and acing them since he was just 6 years old.
Aaryan also won the title of 'World Champion' in 2022 at the Mental Calculation World Cup, which was organised in Paderborn, Germany. This achievement stands out as one of his biggest after the World Record. Despite just being a kid, he has defeated many math experts worldwide, making India proud.
In 2018, Aaryan represented India in the Memorial Turkey Open Championship in Istanbul, Turkey. Despite being just 8 years old, his mental capacity and genius outshined everyone. Aaryan received numerous medals, including 7 golds, 1 silver, and 2 bronze. He also set two Kid World Records during that event.
Aaryan is also the founding board member of the Global Mental Calculators Association (GMCA), achieving this status at just 13 years of age. This young genius has accomplished so much at such a tender age, showcasing his calibre and mental strength.
Speaking about Aaryan's achievements, Chief Learner and Director of DPS Nashik, Siddharth Rajgarhia said, "He has not only made us proud, but it's also a moment of great pride for the nation. Congratulations to him."
