In January this year, Bohra, who was one of the five finalists on the reality show, Bigg Boss 12, was detained at the Moscow International Airport due to his damaged passport issues. He had flown to Russia to attend the MacCoffee Bollywood Film Festival. The 36-year-old actor then contacted the Indian Embassy, which issued a temporary passport to the actor after Sushma Swaraj intervened.
At that time, Karanvir Bohra had tweeted, “So bummed… waiting at #moscowairport coz my passport is a little damaged. They (are) contemplating to deport me back to India.”

Not just Bohra, Sushma helped many Indians stuck abroad.
With Sushma Swaraj's demise, the national capital has lost three former chief ministers in less than a year.
Sushma, who was the chief minister of Delhi for a brief period from October-December 1998, passed away due to cardiac arrest. The funeral will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday (August 7) at the Lodhi Road crematorium in Delhi.
