Hours after the engagement, Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna took to his X (formerly Twitter) account and posted the pictures of the happy newly-engaged couple. Nagarjuna welcomed Sobhita to the family and wrote, "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! The engagement took place in a private ceremony at Nagarjuna's Hyderabad residence. Sobhita looked ethereal with her simple yet elegant saree and hair tied neatly in a bun with flowers. The groom-to-be looked dashing with his all-white kurta set.
