Jitendra Kumar was born on 1 September 1990 in Khairthal, Rajasthan. His father is a civil engineer. Aspiring to become an engineer, Jitendra Kumar cracked the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams and secured admission at IIT Kharagpur.
Jitendra Kumar had a passion for acting since childhood. He used to imitate Amitabh Bachchan and Nana Patekar during his younger years. He also participated in Ramleela performances. During his college years, he crossed paths with Biswapati Sarkar. The latter serves as the Executive Creative Director of The Viral Fever.
After graduating from IIT Kharagpur, Jitendra Kumar secured a job at a Japanese construction company based in Bengaluru.
He had his breakthrough when he got the opportunity to work for a project at TVF. He worked on a series called ‘Munna Jazbaati’ which became an instant hit. Since then, he has appeared in numerous hit shows and movies like Kota Factory, Shubh Mangal Zayada Savdhaan, TVF Pitchers, Panchayat, and many more.
