This impressive feat began with his 2010 Malayalam film, Bodyguard, which starred Dileep, Nayanthara, and Mithra Kurian. The film's success not only revitalized Dileep's career but also solidified Siddique’s reputation as a maestro in the action-comedy genre.
The success of Bodyguard catapulted Siddique into high demand, leading to the decision to remake the film in two other major languages. The Tamil remake, Kaavalan, released within seven months of the original, featured Thalapathy Vijay and Asin in lead roles, with Mithra Kurian reprising her character. Directed by Siddique, Kaavalan mirrored the success of its predecessor, becoming a massive hit and earning over Rs 100 crore worldwide, further cementing Siddique's prowess in crafting engaging cinematic experiences.
Siddique’s journey didn’t stop there. In August of the same year, just seven months after Kaavalan, he launched the Hindi remake of Bodyguard. This version starred Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, with Hazel Keech joining the cast. The Hindi Bodyguard was a spectacular success, breaking box office records and grossing a staggering Rs 252 crore worldwide.
