Remembering the sacrifice of the brave soldiers on this day, Janhvi said, "On this historic milestone of 25 years of Kargil Vijay Diwas, let us stand united in remembrance and gratitude for the heroes who lay down their lives for our freedom. In a video, he said, "On this 25th anniversary of Kargil, firstly I'd like to remember all the great martyrs who gave the supreme sacrifice to keep us safe and the sovereignty of the nation of this nation." He added "My respect and love for all of your in the armed forces remains and grows each day. 25 years of remembrance of bravery and most of all, from us citizens of the country, an feeling of safety and pride that we know that you all are there on the borders to take care of us."

As we honour the courage, I am humbled to have portrayed the role of Captain Vikram Batra in the movie Shershaah." He added, "His valour and selflessness continue to inspire us all.
