Poha is a beloved Indian dish that is especially enjoyed as breakfast. It is a wholesome breakfast and snack option that provides immense health benefits to the body. Let’s read this recipe for making delicious poha at home.

Ingredients you are going to need:
• 2 cups of poha
• 1 large potato, diced
• 1 chopped onion
• 1 chopped green chili,
• 1/2 cup of green peas
• 1/4 cup of peanuts
• 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
• 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
• 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• Fresh coriander leaves
• Cooking oil

Follow these instructions
Step 1- Rinse the poha under running water for a few seconds. Drain well and set aside to soften.
Step 2- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and sauté until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove the potatoes from the pan and set aside.
Step 3- In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter. Then add the chopped green chilli and onions. Sauté for a couple of minutes.

Step 4- Add the green peas to the pan and cook for a few minutes until they are tender. Then, add the roasted peanuts and sauté for another minute.
Step 5- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix the ingredients together.
Step 6- Proceed to add poha to the pan and mix everything thoroughly. Be careful not to break the poha.
Step 7- Finally add the potatoes and mix them. Cover the pan for a couple of minutes. Turn off the hear and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
