Paneer wraps are a delightful fusion of flavors, combining the rich creaminess of paneer with the freshness of vegetables and the tanginess of sauces. Whether you're looking for a quick meal on the go or a satisfying snack, paneer wraps are the perfect choice. In this article, we'll walk you through a simple and delicious recipe for making paneer wraps at home.

Ingredients:

200 grams of paneer
1 capsicum (bell pepper), thinly sliced
1 tomato, thinly sliced
2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil
1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon of cumin powder
1 teaspoon of coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder (adjust according to taste)
Salt to taste
4-6 whole wheat or multigrain tortillas or chapatis
Fresh lettuce leaves
Grated cheese
Sliced jalapenos
Sliced olives
Your favorite sauce (such as mint chutney, tamarind sauce, or mayonnaise)
Instructions:

1. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the paneer cubes and shallow fry them until they turn golden brown. After taking the paneer cubes out, leave them aside.

2. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil. Add the onion slices and cook until they become transparent.

3. When the raw smell goes away, add the ginger-garlic paste to the pan and sauté for one minute. Add the sliced capsicum and tomato to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they soften slightly. Now, add the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to the pan.

4. Add the fried paneer cubes to the pan and gently toss everything together until the paneer is well coated with the spices. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Warm the tortillas or chapatis on a separate pan or griddle.

5. To assemble the paneer wraps, place a lettuce leaf on each tortilla or chapati. Spoon some of the paneer and vegetable mixture onto the lettuce leaf. If desired, sprinkle some grated cheese over the paneer mixture for added flavor.

6. Add sliced jalapenos and olives for an extra kick of flavor (optional). Drizzle your favorite sauce over the paneer mixture. You can use mint chutney, tamarind sauce, mayonnaise, or any other sauce of your choice. Roll up the tortilla or chapati tightly to form a wrap.

Serve the paneer wraps immediately, either as a snack or a light meal.
