The first look of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is out and it is hard to recognise the actor.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to get a biopic. Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh, the film titled PM Narendra Modi will star Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi. The makers of the film took to social media on Monday to release the film’s first poster in eight languages, including Hindi and English.
Oberoi looks like a spitting image of PM Modi. The movie is directed by Omung Kumar, who is known for making popular biopics like Sarbjit and Mary Kom. Slated to go on floors later this month, PM Narendra Modi has been in the works for three years.
On his Twitter account, Taran Adarsh announced about the poster and wrote, “Vivek Anand Oberoi [Vivek Oberoi] to star in Narendra Modi biopic, titled #PMNarendraModi... The first look poster was launched in 23 languages by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis... Directed by Omung Kumar... Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh.”
In the poster, Oberoi is seen standing in PM Modi’s signature style and his look resembles the PM to the core. Check out the poster here.
The poster has Oberoi, as Modi, standing in front of the Indian tricolour with a massive crowd carrying the national flag as the sun rises in the background. At the top it is written, “Deshbhakti Hi Meri Shakti Hai (Patriotism is my power).”

Vivek also shared the poster, "जय हिन्द. జై హింద్. ஜெய் ஹிந்த். Jai Hind 🇮🇳🙏 We humbly ask for your prayers and blessings on this incredible journey. #AkhandBharat #PMNarendraModi (sic)" the actor captioned.
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal was initially roped in to play the role but the actor backed out due to unknown reasons.

The movie was announced four years ago, however, the shooting will start this month. According to reports, the film will be shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, among other locations in the country.
The filmmakers are yet to announce PM Narendra Modi’s biopic release date.
