The actor recently splurged on three apartments in the posh Khar area of the city. Actor John Abraham's brother, Alan, will be doing the interiors of all three apartments. Shroff has reportedly bought the property for his parents, Jackie and Ayesha, and sister Krishna Shroff.

Much has been talked about Tiger Shroff buying three apartments in one of the most exclusive and expensive areas of Mumbai. John Abraham’s brother, architect and interior designer, Alan is the interior designing of all three apartments. Abraham specialises in open and minimalist interior designing while maintaining a balance between functionality and aesthetics, context, climate, material, cost and time-frame.

The star has splurged a whopping Rs 38 crores on three apartments for his parents, Jackie and Ayesha, and sister Krishna at the Rustomjee Paramount apartments in western Khar. The area is known for its illustrious inhabitants and is home to many industrialists, socialites and Bollywood celebrities  here’s why the young actor has chosen to invest 38 crores in it.

A source says, “Tiger may be young but he is very practical and wiser than his age. He looked around for a long time with his mother Ayesha Shroff and finally chose Rustomjee Paramount because it has some unique features which appealed to his fitness sense. The apartment offers a pool deck, resting pavilion, business centre, gymnasium and fitness stations, artificial rock climbing, indoor games facilities, swimming pool and a stargazing deck or lounge where one can sit and night and watch the sky and stars. Tiger and his family loved the MySpace concept that inspires individuals to pursue their hobbies and make space for friends, family and more - spaces inside and outside homes that help them find who they truly are, help them rediscover lost passions, old friends and spend quality time with their loved ones. Tiger also is extremely attached to his family and he loved this feature.”

The source adds that as Tiger is a fitness freak and loves swimming so these special features appealed to him. “He bought three apartments – one 3BHK on the 9th floor (with a carpet area of 1,500 sq ft) and two 4 BHK apartments of 1,900 sq ft and 2,100 sq ft, respectively on the 21st floor. The cost of all the three apartments cost 38 crores (approx) and not 31.5  crores as reported. The apartments come completely unfurnished. People are assuming he is the brand ambassador of the building but he is not. He loved the outdoors sports and fitness features and hence he bought them for himself and his family.”
