Rs 300 crore movie Thugs of Hindostan is not only facing rejection in India, but abroad too. It is set to be out of screens soon after getting a poor response from the audience
Thugs of Hindostan is all set to make an early exit from the screens after a poor response from the audience. Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh have failed to entertain the crazy fans of Bollywood and the collection is said to have been poor.
The YRF film, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, is a big budget production that failed to have a big impact in Bollywood. When the movie released, the critics had given it low ratings. The movie has so far earned Rs 149.42 crore in 15 days and is still struggling to cross the Rs 150 crore mark.
The movie was made with a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. Despite being the sole big budget release during Diwali, the movie has not made collections as per expectations.
In fact, medium budget movie Badhai Ho, starring Ayushmann Khurrana was released during Dusshera and has collected Rs 126.60 crore. Its collections from the US, Canada and Australia are expected to be bigger than Thugs of Hindostan's.
