Anupam Kher shared a video on Instagram in which his mother, Dulari Kher, is seen praising her son’s acting as Dr Manmohan Singh and has given him full marks

Bollywood’s talented actor Anupam Kher, who plays the role of the former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister movie, is getting positive reviews and comments from the critics and audiences. Anupam has lifted all the mannerisms of the former Prime Minister and has sunken his teeth into the character.

The movie is based on a book of the same name by Singh’s media advisor Sanjaya Baru, which is played by Akshaye Khanna. Celebrities are appreciating the powerful performances by both Anupam and Akshaye.

A few hours ago, Anupam shared a video on Instagram in which his mother, Dulari Kher, is seen praising her son’s acting as Singh and has given him full marks.

He captioned the video, “Mother of all Reviews: Dulari Watched #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister and has given her review in a One minute video. Her first sentence was frightening. “ऐसे कोई acting करता है?”. And she almost acted me out. But what followed was a great endorsement for my performance. Her observation about #DrManmohanSingh is spot on. Her review is my ultimate reward. After all these years Mom is relieved that I can act. Jai Mata di. #DulariRocks #DulariReviewsTAPM #FilmReleasesToday (sic).”

Check out the video here.

The movie revolves around Singh's life, the economist and politician who served as India’s Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.

The film has had its share of controversies ever since the trailer was released on the internet. The Accidental Prime Minister has hit the screens today.
