Muzaffarpur: Actor Salman Khan is embroiled in a legal battle again. The Dabangg star is accused of hurting the sentiments of Hindus with his upcoming release.

The CJM court of Muzaffarpur has ordered to register an FIR against Salman after an allegation was made against his forthcoming film, Loveratri. On September 6, a local lawyer Sudhir Ojha filed a petition in court alleging that by opting for such a name for his movie, Salman is intending to hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community.

Ojha wrote in his petition: "By making such a film, he has tried to humiliate the Hindu society, that too when the Hindu festival of Navaratri is set to begin." Obscenity and hurtful talk in the movie have also been mentioned in the petition.

After receiving the petition, Muzaffarpur CJM court has ordered to register an FIR against Salman.
