Reports indicate that at approximately 4:55 am, two unidentified individuals on a motorbike fired four shots near Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. The alarming event has prompted swift action from law enforcement, with the case now under the jurisdiction of the Mumbai Crime Branch. Over ten specialized teams have been deployed to investigate the matter thoroughly.

In their statement, the Association urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to intervene promptly, calling for decisive action against those responsible for the shooting. They emphasized the broader implications of the incident, citing the potential for extortion and the need to safeguard the entire Bollywood community.

Reaffirming their support for Salman Khan and his family, the Association emphasized the solidarity of the film industry during challenging times. They underscored the urgency of apprehending the perpetrators to prevent further acts of violence and restore a sense of safety and security.

Following initial investigations and inquiries by law enforcement and forensic experts, Salman Khan's siblings, along with a circle of close acquaintances, rallied around him for support. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached out to the actor, while politician Raj Thackeray and actor Mahesh Manjrekar personally visited him. Security measures around Salman Khan's residence have been bolstered, and CCTV footage, along with purported images of the assailants, has surfaced online, aiding the ongoing investigation.
