The plot of the film Pihu revolves around a 2-year-old protagonist, who is left alone at her apartment.

Former UTV partners Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, have come together for a social thriller movie, Pihu, which is slated to release on September 28 this year.

The plot of the film revolves around a 2-year-old protagonist, who is left alone at her apartment. The movie will certainly be one of its kind as Pihu has only one character throughout, who is that young. It is based on a true event.

The duo has joined hands after producing some classics in the past. Some of the movies from their collection are The Lunchbox, Shahid and Khosla Ka Ghosla. The movie will be directed by a national award winner, Vinod Kapri.

The movie has been featured in a lot of international film festivals like Vancouver, Palmsprings, Iran, Morocco, Germany. It has also bagged the title 'best film' in Morocco Film Festival.

It was also the opening movie at India’s biggest film festival - International Film Festival of India, Goa (2017) where it received rave reviews.
