According to recent reports Bollywood's latest 'It couple' Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have secretly got engaged.  

Mumbai: Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are not hiding their relationship anymore. From indulging in PDA at movie promotions or awards ceremonies to jet-setting to exotic locations for a short trip, the couple has been making headlines. 

Recently during the Filmfare awards, Alia Bhatt received the best actor in the female category for her film Raazi. In her acceptance speech, she said, “Tonight, it is about love, so I have to say this to my special one, thank you for making my heart smile. I love you,” announced Alia, looking straight at a blushing Ranbir who was present in the audience. The video of the same has now gone viral.

Now, as per a DNA India report, the duo are secretly engaged. According to the publication, Ranbir got down on one knee at St Moritz in Switzerland to pop the question to Alia. Of course, she said yes though neither Alia nor Ranbir have acknowledged the impending wedding. They have also allegedly hosted a party to celebrate the engagement ceremony.

Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor is being touted as the cupid. The senior Kapoor has not been keeping well and is undergoing treatment, so, he wanted to see his one and only son settle down soon. That's why the love-birds decided to make it official. The report also suggested that the couple would tie the knot soon after the release of their next big budget film Brahmastra.

 

It is said that the official engagement ceremony will be held on Ranbir's birthday. According to reports, Neetu Singh has never been so happy and sure of any of Ranbir's girlfriends before. Some reports also say, "Ranbir is the first among Alia's boyfriend that Mahesh Bhatt has bonded. Both Ranbir and Alia's parents are very happy with the alliance."
