The makers of the upcoming Tamil action film Petta has released a new poster of the film featuring superstar Rajinikanth.
Popular Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj is all set to direct superstar Rajinikanth in his next film Petta, which will be produced by Sun Pictures.
The second look of Rajinikanth has finally been unveiled and the 2.0 actor looks young with his striking handlebar moustache, while donning a traditional attire, white shirt and a mundu. The 67-year-old superstar looks half his age in the second poster. He also sports a smile which will make your heart skip a beat.
Petta also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran and Trisha among others. Karthik Subbaraj has been shooting the film at breakneck speed in various parts of the country. After shooting some portions in Lucknow, Darjeeling, Dehradun, the film crew has moved to Varanasi for a month-long schedule. As per media reports, the film includes a lot of computer graphics for which Prime Focus has been signed up to take care of the VFX.
According to reports, director-actor Sasikumar plays a cameo in this movie. He shot for his scene during the Varanasi schedule.
Petta has a sprawling star cast handpicked from the Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam film industries. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for the movie. Petta is all set to release during Pongal next year.
