To avoid unwanted controversy in the last stage of his filmy career, Rajinikanth has decided not to dub in Kannada for the blockbuster film Petta.
As Rajinikanth movie, Petta, hit the screens, there was speculation about the possibility of the actor dubbing in Kannada for the film.
The Karnataka distributor A Manjunath (Jack Manju), in a recent press meet, had said that he was trying hard to get the Thalaivar to dub in Kannada.
However, recent reports suggest that Rajini will not be dubbing in Kannada. Hence, the makers are considering if Petta should be dubbed or not, now that the superstar has backed out. The decision on going ahead without Rajini’s voice will be taken in the next couple of days.
The reports also suggest that since Rajini is planning his political launch, he does not want to draw any unwanted controversy during the final stage of his film career, considering dubbing is a disputed subject in Kannada cinema.
