Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas's wedding guests to arrive in style in choppers to Umaid Bhawan Palace

The royal wedding celebrations are in full swing, starting from guests being ferried in choppers

Jodhpur: Ahead of their nuptials in the royal Umaid Bhawan Palace, preparations for the wedding of actor Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas are in full swing.

The couple is slated to tie the know according to Hindu customs on December 2 at Umaid Bhawan Palace followed by a Christian wedding on December 3. The mehendi and sangeet ceremonies will be held on November 29 and 30 at the same venue. 

According to reports by Jagaran news portal, a fleet of helicopters have been booked to ferry guests from Jodhpur airport to the wedding venue. The choppers would allegedly make 5-7 rounds in a day and have been reserved from November 29-December 3.

Meanwhile, the report also stated that rooms have been booked for three days not only in the Umaid Bhawan but also in the adjoining Mehrangarh Fort for the wedding guests. Spending a night in one of the 64 art deco-style rooms in Umaid Bhawan costs between Rs 43,000 and Rs 228,100, plus taxes.
