While many celebs congratulated the couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on their wedding announcement, Priyanka Chopra’s comment stood out.

During the weekend, Bollywood's most happening news was out - the announcement of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding date. While many celebs congratulated the couple, it was Priyanka Chopra’s reaction that caught everyone's attention for it was way too filmy.

Desi girl Priyanka, who recently got engaged to international music sensation Nick Jonas, had the sweetest message for the two. She commented on both Ranveer's and Deepika's post respectively. Check out the screen grabs below:

Taking to Instagram and reacting on Ranveer’s announcement, Priyanka wrote, “Congrats!! Yay!!! Tu hero ban gaya Ranno!! (You have become a hero).”

She also recalled a line from an old Hindi film song while commenting on Deepika’s post. She wrote: “Woot woot!! Piya ki ayegi baraat.” She added a heart emoji to the comment.

Deepika and Ranveer have shared November 14 and 15 as the wedding dates. It looks like there will be pre-wedding functions ahead of the dates mentioned, but the venue has not been revealed. Earlier, it was reported that the duo has finalised Lake Como, Italy as their dream wedding destination.

On the work front, Ranveer has Rohit Shetty's Simmba opposite Sara Ali Khan this year. The film will hit the screens on December 28, making it his first one post marriage. He also has Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt releasing early next year.
