The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah took a dig at the makers of PM Narendra Modi's biopic
A few days ago, the first look of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi biopic was released by the filmmakers with Vivek Oberoi starring as the prime minister.
The actor looked unrecognisable in the poster. The poster of 'PM Narendra Modi' was launched by Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in 23 Indian languages.
The movie is directed by Omung Kumar, who is known for making popular biopics like Sarbjit and Mary Kom. Slated to go on floors later this month, PM Narendra Modi has been in the works for three years.

Not just that, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah also seems to have taken a dig at the makers of Modi's biopic.
Abdullah while comparing the two films, on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Modi, said, "Life is unfair Dr Manmohan Singh got someone of the calibre of Anupam Kher. Poor Modi ji has to settle for Vivek Oberoi. Salman Khan hota toh kya maza aata."
Take a look at the politician's hilarious tweet:

— Omar Abdullah (@OmarAbdullah)Earlier, soon after the release of the trailer of The Accidental Prime Minister, Abdullah had taken a veiled dig at Modi.
"Can't wait for when they make The Insensitive Prime Minister. So much worse than being the accidental one," he had tweeted.
Coming back to the biopic, veteran actor Paresh Rawal was initially roped in to play the role of PM Modi but the actor backed out due to unknown reasons.
The movie was announced four years ago. However, the shooting will start this month. According to reports, the film will be shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, among other locations in the country.
The filmmakers are yet to announce the release date of the movie.
