Mumbai: Apart from gaining accolades for the cast's performances, Uri The Surgical Strike seems to have set a new record too. Made on a budget of Rs 42 crore, Uri grossed Rs 157.33 crore three weeks into its release and has become the highest grossing film in the medium budget category.

So far, the honour was reserved by Kangana Ranaut starrer Tanu Weds Manu Returns (Rs 150.8 crore).
