Seth has recently been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women including model Diandra Soares

New Delhi: Amidst battling sexual harassment allegations, brand consultant Suhel Seth has allegedly got engaged to model Lakshmi Menon.

According to reports by Mumbai Mirror, Seth and Menon exchanged rings in the presence of his mother, brother Swapan Seth and 10 close friends at his Gurgaon residence. The report also suggests that the newly engaged couple has taken off to Goa and Switzerland for a holiday and some are suggesting that the two may have plans to tie the knot there. However, there is no official confirmation about the same.

Suhel Seth had apparently sent out a save-the-date message for a dinner that he is reportedly planning to host along with his fiancée at his home on December 25.

This news comes in light of sexual harassment accusations levelled against him by six women including model Diandra Soares, filmmaker Natasha Rathore and writer Ira Trivedi. Following the allegations, Tata had released a statement about ending their contract with Seth.

Filmmaker Natasha Rathore had shared her #MeToo allegations in a series of screenshots of Whatsapp messages sent directly to Seth 'thanking' him for 'not raping' her saying, "Over time, I've learnt to manage you. But no woman should ever have to 'manage' the misuse of power and 'manage' being sexually assaulted."

Part 1: I am not doing this for publicity. I am not doing this for Money. I am not doing this to malign a person. I am doing this solely to empower other women to directly confront the perpetrator. It’s hard - But it’s about time. This is my message to Suhel Seth. pic.twitter.com/h1Z4VCBoq7

Model and ex-Bigg Boss contestant Diandra Soares also accused Seth of forcibly kissing her to which she reacted by biting his tongue really hard in anger. Bigwigs in the fashion fraternity including model Sonalika Sahay and designer Wendell Rodricks have supported her claims.

Seth is yet to respond to the #MeToo accusations.
