MC Sher of Gully Boy is turning out to be the filmy find of the year and he has a fun take on the age-old issue of nepotism in Bollywood. Guess he has Kangana Ranaut to thank for it!

Mumbai: Monarchy is based on it, Bollywood thrives on it and you may just find it in your office too, the concept of nepotism is nothing new. While actor Kangana Ranaut was lauded for bringing the issue to light by many struggling actors, Siddhant Chaturvedi has a hilarious take on it.

Best known for his breakout role as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy,  the actor had his fans in splits with his shoutout to the favouritism when it comes to snagging acting jobs.

He took to Twitter to share the favouritism actually helped him work harder at his job and will continue to do so. He even used the hashtags #HailNepotism #WorksforMe to throw shade and wrote- You slyly pass employment to your loved ones, and an opportunity for the talented to become legends. Take a look:

Touché! His post sent netizens in a tizzy. One inspired fan wrote, "Nepotism can't win against hard work. So keep hardworking and one day stardom will run after you" while others agreed with him writing, "Haha.. quite a different take on this"..I hope many aspiring artist think alike and don't play nepotism card."

Looks like the Sher will not be going anywhere, anytime soon. Like they say, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. He even got a hand-written letter and a bouquet of flowers from none other than Amitabh Bachchan to laud his performance in Gully Boy.
