Kerala floods: Esha Gupta donates her one day's pay to Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (video)

Bollywood actress Esha Gupta, in a video posted on Instagram, urges her followers to help people and animals stranded in Kerala due to floods.

Rustom actress Esha Gupta spoke about the flood situation in Kerala and urged her followers on social media to come forward and help. She also revealed that she has had no contact with her agent, who is stuck there for the past few days.

Esha was yesterday seen promoting Reebok fall winter 2018 collection and announced that she will donate her one day’s pay to Kerala chief minister’s relief fund.

In her post, Esha wrote, “I urge you to donate money, food, clothes whatever you can in your own way, no one needs to know how much and what, lend a helping hand because you can. Kerala needs us, humanity needs us. They are right now cut off from the world with no one other way but choppers reaching out for supplies. Let’s stand together.”

Earlier, South Indian actor Siddharth also urged people to take part in the Kerala Donation Challenge.He posted a screenshot, where it is revealed that he has donated Rs 10 lakh for flood relief work.

We are sure, after seeing this, more celebs will come forward to help Kerala. South Indian film stars Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Vishal, Karthi, Vijay, Allu Arjun and others have donated to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF).

Kamal Haasan: Rs 25 lakh

Telugu star Allu Arjun: Rs 25 lakh

Mohanlal: Rs 25 lakh

Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan: Rs 25 lakh

AMMA: Rs 10 lakh

Suriya and Karthi: Rs 25 lakh

Vijay Deverakonda: Rs 5 lakh

Vishal: Rs 10 lakh

Vijay TV: Rs 25 lakh

A video which has gone viral shows Malayalam actor Indrajith and his wife Poornima with their kids going to an NGO named Anbodu Kochi to donate some essential items to the needy.
