Filmmaker Karan Johar seems to be in the mood for a war of words as he takes a jibe at actor Kangana Ranaut.
Mumbai: Ever since actor Kangana Ranaut graced the couch on filmmaker Karan Johar's talk show, Koffee With Karan, fans are eagerly awaiting a war of words between the witty duo.
And it seems, Johar may have answered their prayers. On the show, Ranaut had labelled him as the 'flagbearer' of nepotism' for favouring star children over Bollywood newbies with non-filmy backgrounds. The comment went viral and Johar had to often defend himself about the tag at many public events.
Though the incident happened two years ago, it seems that there is no respite for the filmmaker. At a recent event, Karan Johar stoked the fire by taking a dig at Kangana Ranaut while answering a question about nepotism. At the recent YouTube Fan Fest event, Johar was asked during an interaction with YouTuber Bhuvan Bam about why does he love the subject nepotism so much.

Witty Karan shot back, "No, I don't love this subject... Someone else loves the topic. Main bolunga toh log bolte hain ki main bolta hun (If I say something, people say that I talk a lot). So I will continue doing my work and let the other person do the talking about it."
Okay, now we just wait with popcorn to see how Kangana reacts to this. The actor has recently been speaking up about celebrities not doing their bit for the country by refusing to speak about politics. The actor had recently lashed out against products of nepotism themselves albeit good actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
In her recent interview with Mid Day, the Manikarnika star accused the two of misusing the 'youngster' tag to shirk their social responsibilities. "What is this thing of calling them young...Ranbir Kapoor is 37 years old..young kid of the generation. My father was a middle-aged man in that time. And Alia Bhatt is turning 27...at 27 I was writing dialogues for Queen...I don't understand what is young thing; unko nahi pata hoga vo bacche hai. Kaunse bacche hai? My mother had three children at 27. This is absolutely unfair. Bacche hai ki dumb hai ki kya hai..You can't get away with this," she said.
