Kannada actor Darshan meets with accident in Mysuru, suffers hand fracture

Sandalwood star Darshan, along with actors Devaraj and his son Prajwal Devaraj, suffered serious injuries after his car met with an accident in Mysuru, Karnataka.

Kannada actor Darshan, fondly known as Challenging Star, suffered an injury after his car met with an accident in Mysuru, Karnataka. The actor was travelling along with veteran actor Devaraj, his son Prajwal Devaraj and three others when their car ran into a divider near the Hinkal Bridge in Mysuru at 3.15 AM on September 24.

The actors were in Mysuru for the shooting of the film Wodeyar and they were travelling in an SUV when the driver lost control on Mysuru Ring Road. Later, they were rushed to Columbia Asia Hospital and are currently receiving treatment.

 A hospital spokesperson, Faraz said, “We received the patient (Darshan) early in the morning today, and the doctors are evaluating him at the moment. He is not in danger." Farza also added, "Darshan has suffered a hand fracture and Devraj suffered chest injuries, and Prajwal suffered neck injuries." 

According to the latest update, Darshan's mother Meena Thogudeep, wife Vijayalakshmi and son Vinish have reached the hospital.
