Ever since Kangana Ranaut praised PM Narendra Modi calling him the 'rightful leader of democracy', people have wondered whether the Queen actress had any plan to enter politics

Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut, who is currently busy promoting Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, is on cloud nine with multiple films in her kitty. However, she surprised us by saying if she joins politics someday then she will give her full commitment and time to it.

The national award-winning actress praised PM Narendra Modi calling him the "rightful leader of democracy" while talking about some significant national issues like mob lynching incidents, Kathua rape case and more with spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev, better known as Sadhguru in a TV show.

In an interview with Mid-Day, the actress said, "I am currently in the midst of Manikarnika, Mental Hai Kya and we've just announced Panga. Whenever I decide to take up the path, I will do so with utmost sophistication, dignity and full focus. I'm not a sissy to say politics is too demanding. I have to be extremely selfish to say it isn't my cup of tea."

The controversial actress also said that if she enters politics, she will completely end her acting career, and won't even have a family of her own.

"If I have to be a national servant, I can't have a family or kids, or an alternate career. A politician should be nothing more than a government servant. I can't be an actor with an interest in movies, and at the same time, pursue a future in politics. I don't want any conflict to arise over my service to the nation, not even my family's expectations of me. I have set high standards for myself," Kangana added.

Kangana is known for her extraordinarily candid and bold nature. She has always been outspoken and vocal about societal issues.

Take a look:

Last week, the first look poster of her upcoming film Manikarnika was released, and yes it grabbed everyone's attention and praise too. The poster shows a fierce Kangana playing the character of Queen of Jhansi and riding a horse on a battlefield.
