After receiving an overwhelming response from her debut movie Dhadak, Janhavi Kapoor has signed her second movie.

Janhvi has signed for Takht movie opposite Vicky Kaushal, who will be playing the role of Aurangazeb. So, Janhvi is expected to be donning the role of Auragazeb's wife.
However, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhat and Ranveer Singh are also leading characters in the film and Bhumi Pednekar will also be seen in one of the major roles. Anil Kapoor is also playing a vital role in the film.
Thus, after Dhadak, Janhvi will be seen in a periodical big budget movie which is expected to release in theatres in 2020.
The screenplay of the movie is written by Sumit Roy and the dialogues by Hussain Haidry.
