In a recent interview on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast, "The Ranveer Show," the 27-year-old actress candidly discussed her experiences with heartbreak.
When asked about heartbreak, Janhvi revealed that she has faced it not only in romantic relationships but also in other aspects of her life. She explained that heartbreak can occur when we invest too much hope and emotion into something, only to be disappointed by the outcome.
Janhvi admitted to experiencing heartbreak in her career and romantically, but she expressed that the loss of her mother, Sridevi, was the most devastating. Sridevi tragically passed away in 2018, leaving Janhvi deeply heartbroken.
Despite the pain, Janhvi shared that she has healed from smaller heartbreaks, but she is still coping with the loss of her mother. Regarding her romantic heartbreak, she mentioned that having closure and maintaining a connection with the person who hurt her facilitated her healing process.
In previous interviews, Janhvi confirmed her relationship with her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, revealing that they have been each other's support system since their teenage years. She affectionately referred to him as "Shiku" during a conversation on "Koffee With Karan" and proudly wore a diamond-studded necklace with his name at the premiere of "Maidaan."
