KL Rahul and Akansha Ranjan have been rumoured to be dating, after the latter posted a picture of her with him. Rumours also say that the two have been spending time with each other.

Love is in the air, or so it seems. Cricket and Bollywood have always been close. A number of Bollywood stars are happily married to cricketers. Virat- Anushka, Yuvraj Singh- Hazel Keech, Harbhajan Singh- Geeta Basra are just a few examples.

However, there could be a new couple in town- Alia Bhatt’s best friend Akansha Ranjan and KL Rahul. The 26-year-old cricketer will be playing in the World Cup in England and Wales this year. While the batsman will be seen dishing out his best on the field, Akansha may be spotted cheering for him.

According to latest reports, Akansha has been spending a lot of her time with the cricketer and they have been spotted together on various occasions, from dinner dates to movies to house parties. Recently when he was in Mumbai, the duo was clicked praying together at the Mount Mary Church.

Rahul is in England now and is preparing for the World Cup. It is speculated that Rahul might play at the number 4 position for team India.

KL Rahul made headlines earlier as there were rumours of him dating Munna Michael actress Nidhhi Agerwal. However, the cricketer at that point had insisted that they were only “good friends.”

Though Rahul failed to impress in India’s first warm-up match against New Zealand, scoring just six runs from ten balls at The Oval in London, he’ll be looking to up his game and play better in the second warm up match against Bangladesh at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.
