This Independence Day, Bollywood films like Akshay Kumar's Gold and John Abraham's Satyameva Jayate are all set to paint the theatres with the Indian tricolour but you can experience the same feeling in your living rooms with these movies.
India will celebrate its 72nd Independence Day on Wednesday, August 15. Bollywood filmmakers have decided to release two movies Gold and Satyameva Jayate which will feature Akshay Kumar and John Abraham respectively.
Gold is based on hockey legend Balbir Singh who was a part of the winning team that brought home the first-ever gold for India back in 1948. And Satyameva Jayate is an action thriller film which features Manoj Bajpayee, Aisha Sharma and Amruta Khanvilkar in the lead roles.
On the other hand, we have movies that will lift our spirits of Independence Day into your living room.
Currently, the movie halls are showing some patriotic-themed movies like Rishi Kapoor-Taapsee Pannu starrer Mulk and Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2.
