Chhatru: A 30-member film crew including Mollywood actress Manju Warrier is stranded in Himachal Pradesh following heavy rains and floods.
The team was shooting a movie, directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan. The team was shooting for the past 10 days in and around Chhatru, Himachal Pradesh. The crew got trapped as road connectivity to Chhatru got snapped following the floods.

According to reports, the crew is stuck in Chhatru. More than 200 people are stranded at Chhatru, 100 km from Manali.
Union minister V Muraleedharan has contacted Himachal Pradesh chief minister Jai Ram Thakur seeking the government's help and measures to rescue the team.
Manju got in touch with her brother Madhu Warrier over a satellite phone, as per a report. Reports also said the crew has food supply which is supposed to last for only two days, and there is no means of communication available to them.

Meanwhile, heavy rains and floods have killed 22 people in Himachal Pradesh in the past two days. Light-to-moderate rainfall will occur at many places with heavy rains expected at isolated places in the state, Shimla Met centre director Manmohan Singh said.
Over 500 people are stranded in several parts of the state as a number of roads have been blocked by landslides and flash floods, officials said.
