Onam is the biggest festival for people living in Kerala. Celebs are nowhere behind to celebrate and shower wishes to fans on social media.

Onam is the biggest festival for people living in Kerala. It is also the end of harvest festival, and the celebrations span over 10 days with food, music and rituals. And celebrities are nowhere behind to celebrate and shower wishes to fans on social media. Social media during any festive season is always filled with pictures and wishes from our favourite stars.

We all know Kerala floods have killed hundreds of people and has left lakhs of people homeless. Sadly, this year, there will be no Onam celebrations for many families.

From Priya Prakash Varrier to Sachin Tendulkar, celebs have wished their fans Happy Onam on various social media platforms.

Priya captioned the image as, “This Onam, doing what I can for our state.Actions speak louder than words.Mkae your valuable contributions now. This is nothing done for publicity. It is just that people should be aware of the amount we are donating to the fund so that they utilise it properly. Please do not degrade even if not appreciate.”(SIC)

ഓണം ആശംസകൾ
The people of Kerala have been through a lot in the last couple of weeks. But the spirit and resilience of Kerala will overcome all odds. May God bless ‘God’s own country’ always.
