Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who turned vegetarian three years ago, says now she has more energy and she feels healthier
Anushka Sharma stars in a new campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India that proclaims, "I Am Anushka Sharma, and I'm a Vegetarian".
Wearing an outfit from her brand NUSH, Anushka Sharma is looking so fresh and smiling towards ace photographer Mazen Abusrour in the new campaign.
"Going vegetarian was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have more energy, I feel healthier, and I'm so happy that no animals had to suffer for my meals," Anushka said in a statement.

PETA India's motto reads, in part, that "animals are not ours to eat". Anushka, according to the animal rights organisation, has been a vegetarian for three-and-half years. She was named PETA India's Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity in 2015 and Person of the Year in 2017.
The actress has also helped stray animals. On her birthday (1 May) she had announced to open an animal shelter near Mumbai. She also raised voice against animal cruelty during Diwali and demanded a ban on cruel carriage rides in Mumbai.
Currently, Anushka has two dogs Dude and Bruno, which belongs to her cricketer husband Virat Kohli.
She has joined celebrities like Lara Dutta, Sonu Sood, Shahid Kapoor, Esha Gupta and R Madhavan at PETA India to promote meat-free meals.
