First look of Laal Singh Chaddha out: Hindi adaptation of Forrest Gump reveals Aamir Khan in turban

The first look of Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha is out. Aamir is seen wearing a turban and the look is similar to Tom Hank's famous bench scene in the movie Forrest Gump.
 

Mumbai: The first look of Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha is out. Turban-clad Aamir Khan is seen sitting inside a train with a box of sweets in hand and a smile on his face.

This poster serves as a reminder of Tom Hank's scene from the movie Forrest Gump when he is seated on a bench with a box in his hand and a faint smile on his face.

Laal Sigh Chaddha is a remake of Tom Hank starrer movie Forrest Gump.

Aamir is said to have been enamoured by the script of the movie and therefore decided to play the Indian version of Forrest Gump.

Kareena Khan acts opposite Aamir Khan in the movie. This will be their first appearance onscreen since 2009. They were previously seen in the movie 3 Idiots.

The Hindi adaption Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame. He was an assistant director for the Aamir Khan-starrer Dhobi Ghat.

Laal Singh Chaddha is co-produced by Aamir Khan along with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The shooting started in October and the movie is set to release in December 2020.

Speaking about choosing the script, Aamir Khan had said, "I have always loved Forrest Gump as a script. It is a wonderful story about this character. It is a life-affirming story. It is a feel-good film. It is a film for the whole family.”
