Tamil actor Dhanush’s ‘Captain Miller’ has earned a nomination for Best Foreign Language Film at the UK National Film Awards.
Tamil actor Dhanush has an international presence when it comes to his work and fame. He gained significant recognition with the role of an assassin in Russo Brothers’ ‘The Gray Man.’ Now, his latest film ‘Captain Miller’ has earned a nomination for Best Foreign Language Film at the UK National Film Awards.
Other international films that are nominated for this award include ‘You Are Not Alone: Fighting the Wolf Pack’ (Spain), ‘Bhakshak’ (India), ‘The Parades’ (Japan), ‘Red Ollero: Mabuhay is a Lie’ (Philippines), ‘Sixty Minutes’ (Germany), and ‘The Heartbreak Agency’ (Germany).
Dhanush’s ‘Captain Miller’ released on January 12, 2024. It was produced with a budget of Rs 50 crore and received good reviews from the critics. It did a business of Rs 100 crore at the box office. It is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The film features Dhanush, Sundeep Kisan, Priyanka Mohan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, and Edward Sonnneblick. It is set in the pre-Independence era and follows the life of a militant figure who fights against the British colonial rule to protect the local villagers.
