Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will soon have her wax statue installed at the prestigious Madame Tussauds museum in London
Deepika Padukone is set to be the latest Bollywood celebrity to get her wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum in London.
She will join Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan and others at the famous wax museum.
Deepika went live on Facebook to break the big news, all the way from London as she said, “It’s fun, exciting and in a way, I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then it’s really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it.”
She also added that she went to London for the same and has given her measurements for the wax statue which will be unveiled early next year.
The Piku actress will also have a similar statue at Madame Tussauds Delhi. During the FB Live, Deepika shared that she wants to look something which will have an Indian touch and also relatable to global audience as well.
One of her fans asked Deepika what was her first reaction when she got a call from Madame Tussauds London. She answered, “I am very, very excited. The only time I visited Madamme Tussauds London was with my parents when I was very young. That memory has stayed with me.”
As per reports, Deepika will get married on November 19 with her beau Ranveer Singh.
If reports are to be believed, Deepika has signed a superhero film. The movie will go on floors next year and will see Deepika as India's first female superhero.
