How mehenga was Deepika Padukone's lehenga?

Deepika Padukone looked drop dead gorgeous as a Sabyasachi bride, the dupatta that Deepika wore with the lehenga had the shlok 'Saubhagyavati Bhavah' written on it. 

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in an intimate wedding at Italy’s Lake Como. The couple tied the knot twice on November 14 and 15 in two different Konkani and Sindhi rituals. 

Their wedding was a private affair and no pictures were leaked until the newlywed couple released them on their respective social media handles.

During the Konkani wedding, Deepika donned a red and gold silk saree and for the Sindhi wedding, she worn a red lehenga, designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. 

The Sindhi wedding lehenga that Deepika wore was customised and the dupatta had the shloka, "Sada Soubhagyavati Bhava", which means 'Have a blessed destiny always'. According to reports, the Sindhi wedding lehenga, which has been designed by Sabyasachi is worth Rs. 8.95 lakh. 

 

Deepika and Ranveer will host two reception parties – one in Bengaluru and another in Mumbai. The Bengaluru reception will be held on November 21 at Leela Palace and Mumbai party will be at The Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28.
