Boney Kapoor discusses upcoming projects with his children. Plans include a solo hero film with Arjun Kapoor and a sequel, 'No Entry 2,' featuring a star-studded cast
Boney Kapoor recently shared his upcoming projects, shedding light on his children's roles in his ventures. Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor, all actively engaged in the film industry, have been carving their paths, each starting their careers with different production houses.
Despite his position as a producer, Boney Kapoor refrained from launching his own kids in the industry. He only collaborated with them on two occasions, with Arjun in Tevar and Janhvi in Mili. In a recent interview, he emphasized that his children never solicited projects from him, preferring to establish themselves independently.
Discussing his collaboration with Arjun, Boney Kapoor mentioned his plans for a solo hero film, in addition to No Entry 2. He expressed enthusiasm for the solo project's storyline and Arjun's interest in it.
Regarding his daughters, Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor hinted at future collaborations. While he hasn't approached Khushi yet with a specific project, she remains on his radar. For Janhvi, he affirmed having a concept in mind that he intends to produce.
Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios are teaming up for No Entry 2, with Anees Bazmee directing and writing the sequel. The cast includes Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh, all excited about the script's comedic potential.
Casting discussions have been ongoing, aiming for a theatrical release in 2025, coinciding with the original film's 20th anniversary. Prior to No Entry 2, Varun Dhawan will complete other projects, while Arjun Kapoor will fulfill commitments for Singham Again.
The original No Entry, released in 2005, starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, and was produced by Boney Kapoor. It achieved considerable success and has since garnered a cult following, prompting demands for a sequel.
