Bigg Boss 11 winner Angoori Bhabhi aka Shilpa Shinde joins Congress

 According to reports, Bigg Boss 11 winner and Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai star Shilpa Shinde may join Congress today.

New Delhi: Actor Shilpa Shinde of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain fame is likely to join the Congress party. Sources from within the party confirmed that the Bigg Boss season 11 winner is likely to join the party ahead of elections, according to the reports published in TimesNow.

Shinde rose to popularity and amassed a huge fan following after bagging the lead role of Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabhi ji Ghar Par Hain. Because of some controversy with the makers of the show, Shilpa left the show in 2016. 

 

In October 2017, she took part in reality TV show Big Boss 11 and won the same on January 14, 2018. 

Later she was featured in Sunil Grover's cricket-based web series Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan. She played Sunil's wife Googly Devi in the comedy show. 

 

The actor also made headlines recently for quitting Twitter due to negative comments about her family. Born in a Maharashtrian middle-class family, her father Dr Satyadeo Shinde was the judge of a High Court while mother Geeta Satyadeo Shinde is a homemaker. Her father  Satyadeo wanted her to study law but she wanted to be an actor. 

Shilpa Shinde is yet to comment on the development.
