The Badhaai Ho star is setting examples for all the married couples out there
Mumbai: The recent Karwa Chauth festival was celebrated with great aplomb in Bollywood given the number of newlyweds in the industry. From Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, the celebrities went all out to fast and pray for a long life of their respective partners.
However, it was Ayushmann Khurrana's celebration that made all Bollywood fans go aww. The actor's better half, Tahira Kashyap, was recently diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer, DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in her right breast with high-grade malignant cells. While the situation is under control and she is on the mend, Karwa Chauth took a really sweet turn in the Khurrana household.
The actor took to Twitter to reveal that since his wife will not be fasting this time, he decided to do it for her good health and long life. He went all the way and even got her initial, T, written in Hindi with henna on his palm.

But, we had promised ourselves that we'd maintain a positive attitude. We got to know of the cancer early. So, we decided to celebrate the silver lining."
