Apart from performing at Shimak Davar’s 30th Summer Funk in June this year,after this event,Anusheel Chakrabarty,an Actor,took part and splendidly completed the “Advance Training Batch” course under Mr Jay Verma who is an Senior Instructor of the renowned SDIPA (Shiamak Davar’s Institute of Performing arts) which was concluded in Juhu on Friday,this past week.
Anusheel Speaking about the dance routine,he said,it was 1 and half hours of hardcore Dance drills and training sessions,that had longer than usual warmups,stretches,the intensity was at the very different level compared any other regular dance classes out there,through this course he got to explore different dance forms and Styles like Ballet,Shiamak Style,Contemporary,Jazz Funk, Rock and Roll,prior to this,these styles were very unfamiliar to him,besides that he also got to learn new dance techniques as well,he feels fortunate to have a very good introduction to these dance forms via this course.Bollywood dance was also embraced.Undoubtedly a true-blue Advance Training Batch,he says.

Anusheel’s favourite choreography all round the course or he can say his personal favourite would be “Laal Ishq” as the instructor commanded us the feel was more important than the choreography and those really “Slow” dance moves,concerning this,they were really rare and un usual.As Anusheel reacalls about this choreography,he used to get emotional whenever he performed it in the classes.
He specially thanked the Instructor Mr Jay Verma as he really pushed him to the limits,his way of training made Anusheel felt he has grown a little,he can literally feel more flexible and fluidic in his dance moves,one of the best SDIPA instructors he had came across.Anusheel also adds up that Jay Sir is always smiling but strict in his teachings,his jovial nature makes him a favourite amongst us,besides this,Jay Sir had performed in Dhoom 2,Rab Ne Banadi Jodi,Bunty Aur Babli,Kisna and Game,in addition to the IIFA awards,TOIFA Awards,Filmfare Awards,Stardust Awards,Zee Cine Awards,Star Parivaar Awards and Star Guild Awards.
Despite of the rainy weather in Mumbai,Anusheel never missed a single session even on Shravan Fasting state on Mondays.
Lastly,Anusheel affirms switching to SDIPA to further enhance his dancing skills was the best decision he’s ever made,grateful to his support system,his mom Adv Sheela Chakrabarty for her constant aiding in Anusheel’s dancing journey throughout these years.
