In a shocking event, a man was arrested for attempting to defraud Akshay Kumar's production company by offering a fake job to a social media influencer
In a startling turn of events, a man was apprehended at Mumbai's Juhu police station for attempting to deceive Akshay Kumar's production company, Cape of Good Films, in a fraudulent scheme involving social media influencer Pooja Anandani.
The incident unfolded amidst the buzz surrounding Akshay Kumar's recent film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' in collaboration with Tiger Shroff. However, the excitement was overshadowed by reports of the actor's production company becoming a target of fraudulent activity.
According to reliable sources, the alleged con artist, identified as Prince Kumar Sinha, aged 29, was accused of impersonating a representative of Akshay Kumar's production business, using the alias Rohan Mehra. Under this false identity, Sinha purportedly enticed Pooja Anandani with fake job offers and a fabricated film project related to the Nirbhaya case, arranging meetings in the Juhu area.
Their initial rendezvous occurred at a local coffee shop, where 'Rohan' persuaded Pooja to participate in a photo session purportedly organized by a fictitious photographer associated with Amitabh Bachchan. Subsequently, a follow-up meeting was scheduled at the JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu, where law enforcement authorities intervened and apprehended Prince Kumar Sinha during the setup.
Further revelations by the Juhu Police on April 3 unveiled that the accused, operating under the guise of Rohan Mehra, falsely claimed to be an employee of Cape of Good Films. However, investigations confirmed that no such individual was employed by the renowned production studio. Upon realizing the fraudulent nature of the scheme, Pooja Anandani promptly alerted the production house, triggering a formal complaint to the Juhu police station and leading to the swift arrest of the perpetrator.
