Looks like Aamir Khan met the man behind his eclectic look very early in life

Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan is the master of disguise. From inspiring the shaved head look in Ghajini to the handlebar moustache in Mangal Pandey, the actor always tries to push the envelope with his appearance too.

For his upcoming release, Thugs of Hindostan, Khan is sporting a very eclectic outfit. However, more than the outfit it was the actor's nose-pin that attracted his fans.

Turns out, the inspiration for that came pretty early on, from Khan's school days.

According to a DNA report the 53-year-old decided to give a personal touch to his role and took inspiration from a school friend from Sindh who wore a nose-pin. Unfortunately, his friend did not remember the design of the nose-pin he used to wear leaving Aamir to design his own nose-pin relying on his memory.

"Aamir has an eye for minute details. Not only does he have a vision for his characters, but he also takes every bit of efforts to get the finer details right. It is a lesser known fact, but he observes his near and dear ones very closely and often draws inspiration from them for his onscreen characters. To play a 'thug,' he imprinted the design of the nose-pin his school friend wore decades ago," DNA quoted a source as saying.
