Yash Raj Films has revealed the first official logo and release date for Thugs of Hindostan, the most expensive Bollywood film ever made
Touted as India's answer to Pirates of the Caribbean, the promotions for Thugs of Hindostan have officially kicked off with the unveiling of the logo film and the release date. Starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif, the ambitious Yash Raj Films project has officially been slated for a November 8 release.
The logo is giving us major Game of Thrones vibes with the iconography, swords and emblems.
Starting this week, YRF will release motion pictures for characters leading up to a teaser.
Budgeted at approximately Rs 300 crore, it is rumoured to be the most expensive Indian movie ever made. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who also directed Aamir in Dhoom 3, the film has been shot aboard ships, too. A source revealed that the film’s budgets are yet to be ascertained, but the cost for the two ships easily runs into several crores and took over a year to build these two ships off the coast of Malta (in Europe).
