New Delhi: Delhi’s 1.43 crore voters will decide the fate of the BJP, Congress and AAP by casting their ballot this election season. The BJP which got all seven seats in the 2014 general election is fighting for its prestige, while the Congress which lost control over Delhi in the assembly elections is looking for revival. Meanwhile, for AAP it’s a battle for survival as they have lost a lot of vote bank since the last assembly election in 2015.

— Doordarshan News (@DDNewsLive)Cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir was among the early voters. He is BJP’s candidate from east Delhi. After casting his vote, Gambir tweeted his picture and wrote, “Done my bit!! It's your turn now…Go Vote Delhi.”
Gambhir was wearing a crisp white kurta. He was spotted with his wife Natasha Jain holding their voter cards as they stood in a queue at a polling booth on Old Rajendra Nagar.

He also appealed voters not to vote for those who are creating a hindrance for developmental work in Delhi. His tweet translated as, “Good morning Delhi. Please vote. Vote for those who have done your work. Don't vote for those who are spreading hatred and venom and stopping work in Delhi. Your vote can change the country.”

After casting his vote Rahul attack BJP and said, “the election was fought on key issues including demonetization, farmer problems, Gabbar Singh Tax and corruption in Rafale.
