Re-polling in five polling stations in Assam on April 24

Re-polling to the five constituencies - four in Karimganj and one in Autonomous district will be held on April 24, an election office spokesperson confirmed on Monday

Guwahati: Re-polling has been ordered in five polling stations of Karimganj(SC) and Autonomous District (ST) constituencies of Assam where polling was held in the second phase on April 18, an election office spokesperson said on Monday.

Re-polling to the five constituencies - four in Karimganj and one in Autonomous district will be held on April 24, he said.

The repolling has been ordered in the five polling stations as the printed data of the VVPAT slip was not clear, the spokesperson said.

 

 

The polling stations where re-polling will be conducted are polling station number 105 at Batoiya LP School, polling station number 134 at Gandarvakhani LP School, polling station number 152 at Atanagar LP School and polling station number 153 at Atanagar LP School in Karimganj(SC) seat.

Re-polling will also be conducted at polling station number 136 at Upper Dillaji LP School of Autonomous District (ST) constituency, he said.

Re-polling will be held from 7 am to 5 pm, the spokesperson added.
